Whether as a heterosexual couple, a female couple or a single woman: since the Sperm Donor Register Act (SaReG) of 2018, donor sperm treatment has been legally open to everyone. We accompany you through every step – from the first consultation and donor selection to the treatment itself.
Our particular advantage: the Berlin Sperm Bank (BSB) is located in the same building as our practice. For you, this means short distances, straightforward processes and personal support in selecting a donor – without detours via external institutes. In addition, we cooperate with the European Sperm Bank and Cryos International if other criteria (e.g. specific donor characteristics) are a priority for you.
Who is this treatment suitable for?

Treatment paths
Donor insemination (IUI)
Prepared donor sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the time of ovulation. Outpatient, brief, usually the first step.
Donor IVF/ICSI
If insemination is not successful or there are other medical reasons, we combine donor sperm with IVF or ICSI.
Choosing a donor
In cooperation with the Berlin Sperm Bank, the European Sperm Bank and Cryos International, we support you in choosing a donor by characteristics such as eye colour, hair colour, physical features such as height and weight, occupation and hobbies – on request with photo viewing and extended profiles. This helps your child fit well into your family, if that matters to you.
